At the request of one of the women who became a mother while in the pre-trial detention center, her children were baptized in the prayer room of the institution. The Sacrament was conducted by Archpriest Roman Tsurkan, Assistant Head of the Regional Federal Penitentiary Service for organizing work with believers. At the end of the church ceremony, the clergyman, representatives of the administration of the pre-trial detention center and the godmother congratulated the mother and girls on this important event. We wished them good health, well-being and to return home as soon as possible.— noted in the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

It is worth noting that in SIZO-1, a woman with babies is kept in a specially equipped cell, where there are cots, a bath, a changing table and other additional equipment, and they are also provided with food, all necessary items, things and personal hygiene products.
