The interest of investors in the implementation of projects in the resort sector of the Crimea in the 2021 year increased. Irina Kiviko, Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea, announced this.
Interest of investors in the development of the industry has grown. In 2021 year, an 21 investment agreement was signed for an amount of more than 20 1 billion rubles, which is comparable to with the volume of attracted investments over the previous five years , she noted.
The projects include the reconstruction of existing accommodation facilities, the construction of new hotel complexes and campsites, the reconstruction of embankments and the construction of entertainment complexes.
She noted that in the 2021 year 9.4 million tourists rested in Crimea, which is 26, 4% more than in the pre-Covid 2019 year.
This is the highest result in the post-Soviet period, the vice-premier emphasized.
At the same time, the number of organized vacationers, according to her, increased by 1.8 times over the year (up to 3.8 million people), which ensured the growth of tax revenues from business entities of the sanatorium and resort complex by 1.5 times (in total, the budget received 5.8 billion rubles).
