Clarification of family relations between a woman and two men ended in criminal liability.

It was established that during a joint feast of a 41-year-old local resident and her former 40-year-old spouse, a new 42-year-old roommate of the woman suddenly came to the apartment and a quarrel broke out between the men on the basis of jealousy. During the conflict, the new chosen one grabbed a kitchen knife from the table and threatened the opponent with reprisals. Seriously frightened for his life, the victim turned to the police. Arriving at the scene, the district police officers detained the suspect and seized the alleged crime weapon — a knife— reported the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Sevastopol.

In relation to the man, the department of inquiry of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Balaklava district initiated a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 119 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Threat to kill or cause grievous bodily harm”, he faces up to two years in prison.
