Easter night in Sevastopol: traffic restrictions

In connection with the events dedicated to the celebration of Easter, from 20:30 on April 15 until the end of Easter services on April 16 on the street. Ancient, st. Eroshenko and st. Dmitry Ulyanov, the movement of all types of vehicles will be restricted, except for public transport, vehicles belonging to persons living in the restricted zone, and vehicles of emergency special services. The profile department calls for the use of public transport on Easter night.

Also, during the festive events, transportation on trolleybus routes No. 7, 9, 10, 12 and bus routes No. 3 and 103 will be carried out from 21:00 April 15 to 06:00 April 16. From 21:00 on April 15 until the end of the night Easter service in St. Vladimir’s Cathedral on the territory of the Tauric Chersonesos Museum-Reserve from the TsUM stop point in the direction to the city, free transportation of citizens to Chersonesos Square will be organized— noted in the press service of the Government of Sevastopol.

Recall that in connection with the high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat established in the city, police officers, representatives of the district Cossack society and the fire service will be on duty to ensure security in the places where Easter services are held. Frame metal detectors will also be installed or screening with a manual metal detector will be organized. Please understand the security measures and come to the service in advance to avoid pandemonium. Anything suspicious should be immediately reported to the single number 112, as well as to the police — 102, the rescue service — 101.
