KFU presented a report on the work on the program «Priority 2030»
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Crimean Federal University presented an annual report on the work within the framework of the state support program «Priority 2030». The results of the work of universities are evaluated by the Council for the Support of University Development Programs. Andrey Falaleev, Rector of Vernadsky KFU, noted that “Priority 2030” has shifted project support centers to the level of universities: this is much closer to real projects, real economy and real scientists.
«Priority 20» is a revolutionary solution for the system of university development, innovation, technological sovereignty, that is, everything new that the country needs. The main objectives of the university within the framework of the program were the development of the main sectors of the economy of the Republic of Crimea, including agriculture, medicine, sanatorium-resort and socio-cultural spheres. Many products developed by us as part of strategic projects are being tested and launched into small-scale production , — the press service of Andrey Falaleev quotes.
According to him, with the help of the program, many new initiatives were implemented faster and more efficiently.
For example, the Taurida Cave project was created on the basis of the discovery of a unique paleontological object — a world-class discovery. Three months after the opening it was visited by more than 20 thousand people. Agricultural development projects in Crimea have opened up new prospects for the creation of domestic virus-free grape seedlings, the development of robotics in viticulture and a significant increase in productivity through precision farming and cyberagronomy. Already in 2023 year, KFU will start producing its own planting material using in vitro technologies and a robotic complex for grafting and stratification of seedlings , — Andrey Falaleev notes.
Recall that the Crimean Federal University is implementing three strategic projects within the framework of the program. As part of the Agropolis project, the university is building a grafting complex for the production of planting material for grapes, as well as developing its own agricultural equipment.
As part of the strategic project «Medicine and sanatorium-and-spa rehabilitation», the Crimean Federal University opened the Competence Center for robot-assisted interventions to train residents in new surgical techniques. The robot assistant is used in urology, oncology, gynecology and laparoscopic operations. In addition, the university has a scientific and clinical center «Health and Rehabilitation Technologies», which is aimed at preventing diseases, restoring health and rehabilitation, as well as diagnosing the degree of readiness of qualified athletes for competitions.
Another strategic project of the university — «Crimea 2.0» — is aimed at the socio-cultural development of the region. As part of this project, the university opened an excursion route through the Taurida cave, created the Student Cricket League and held the first championship in this sport, and also created an experimental tactical training ground, and by spring 2023 sections on sports laser tag will be opened. The main direction of this sport is the analysis of the behavior of the participants in the game, for which the Center for the Comprehensive Study of Human Social Behavior was created.
