Kristina Varlamova and Ekaterina Bondarenko from Kerch are prize winners of the international sambo tournament

Kerch residents Kristina Varlamova and Ekaterina Bondarenko (coach – Vladimir Krasov) became prize winners of the VIII International Sambo Tournament in memory of the Honored Coach of the USSR Mikhail Gennadyevich Burdikov. The competitions are held from August 4 to 7 in Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod Region.

Both Crimeans climbed to the podium in the weight category up to 50 kg. Kristina Varlamova won silver, Ekaterina Varlamova won bronze. More than 300 sambo wrestlers from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, South Korea and Senegal are taking part in the competition.— reports «Crimean Sport».
