Law enforcement officers believe that servicing gas equipment in Bakhchisarai smacks of fraud

By order of the prosecutor’s office, a criminal case was opened regarding fraud in the maintenance of in-house gas equipment in Bakhchisaray high-rise buildings.

An agreement was concluded between a municipal enterprise and a limited liability company for the maintenance and repair of in-house gas equipment for 80 apartment buildings located in the city of Bakhchisaray. As the audit showed, in fact, the work was not completed in full, despite this, about 500 thousand rubles were unreasonably transferred to the company’s current account,” said the Crimean prosecutor’s office.

Based on the facts of identified violations, the prosecutor of the Bakhchisaray district sent the inspection materials to the investigative body to resolve the issue of criminal prosecution under Part 3 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud).

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated and is being investigated, the progress of which is under the control of the supervisory agency.
