Like in a movie about the “saints of the 90s”: gunner, bandits, robbery… Crime in Evpatoria

CrimeaPRESS reports:

In Yevpatoria, two men and a woman will stand trial for robbery. The criminal “trinity” (depending on the role and degree of participation) is charged under Part 3 of Art. 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (robbery), part 5 of Art. 33, part 3 art. 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (assistance in committing robbery). Let us note that about 30 years ago this story would have been used to make a movie “about racketeering.”

According to investigators, the accused became aware that a large sum of money was kept in the apartment of one of the residents of the city of Yevpatoria. She reported this information to two of her acquaintances, after which in October 2023 they agreed to commit a robbery against the owner of the funds. For this purpose, the accused told her two accomplices the exact address of the victim, as well as the password for the combination lock to ensure free access to the entrance of the apartment building,” the Crimean prosecutor’s office revealed the details of the “scenario.”

Approaching the victim’s apartment, two men rang the doorbell and introduced themselves as law enforcement officers. After the victim opened the door, the accused attacked him, struck him in the face and, holding a knife to his throat, demanded that he hand over the money he had. Having taken possession of money in the amount of about 500 thousand rubles, the men fled from the scene of the crime.

With the approved indictment, the criminal case was sent to the Yevpatoriya City Court for consideration on the merits. “There will be no cinema”…
