The Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, during a live broadcast on the STV channel, announced the events that the residents of the Hero City will be able to visit on the holiday — March 18.

Many events are planned at various venues throughout the city — concerts in Victory Park, Balaklava, on Shell, in the Korabel club in Inkerman, on Mount Gasfort. The events will be held in rural houses of culture. The best teams of the city will perform for Sevastopol residents— said Mikhail Razvozhaev.

On March 18, on the anniversary of the reunification of Sevastopol and Crimea with Russia, the Hero City will launch the international action «Garden of Memory». The event will begin at 11:00 — about 70 seedlings will be planted in the square of Kombat Neustroev. The alley will be dedicated to the memory of those killed in the Great Patriotic War and the heroes of the special military operation. The project is supported by the Presidential Grants Fund.

What other events will take place on March 18:

• 10:00 — solemn laying of flowers at the Memorial Wall in honor of the heroic defense of Sevastopol in 1941-1942.
• 12:00 — concert and distribution of ribbons in the colors of the Russian flag in the square of the Balaklava Mine Administration named after A. M. Gorky;
• 12:30-13:30 — motor rally, organized by the Night Wolves motorcycle club, along the route from Sapun Mountain to Gasfort Mountain. The participants of the run will start at 11:00 from Mount Gasfort in Sevastopol and at the same time from the square. Lenin in Simferopol.
