Ministry of Health of Crimea: to obtain refugee status, you must pass a medical examination

Persons who arrived in an emergency and en masse from the territories of the DPR, LPR and Ukraine must undergo a medical examination in order to obtain refugee status. This is reported by the Ministry of Health of the Crimea.
For these categories of citizens, medical examination is free of charge.
Medical examination includes confirmation of the presence or absence of infectious diseases that pose a danger to others, and the disease caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV infection), — specified in the Ministry of Health.
To undergo a medical examination, the examinee submits to the medical organization:
1) identity documents provided for by Article 10 of the Federal Law dated July 2002 No. 115-FZ «On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation» (with the exception of examined, who received a certificate of consideration of the application for recognition as a refugee on the merits);
2) certificate of consideration of the application for recognition as a refugee on the merits;
3) an application for temporary asylum on the territory of the Russian Federation in accordance with the Federal Law of the Russian Federation of February 1993 Year No. 4528-1 “On Refugees”.
The list of medical organizations authorized to conduct medical examinations of foreign citizens and stateless persons was approved by order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea dated March 1993 Years No. 10 and are available on the website of the Government of Crimea.
