More than 10,000 tons of vegetables have been harvested in Crimea since the beginning of the year

Since the beginning of the year, , 5 thousand tons of vegetables have been harvested in Crimea, which is by 24% more than in the same period last year. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Migal. About 8 thousand tons of protected ground vegetables and more than 2.7 thousand tons of open ground were harvested.
Since the beginning of the year, more than 4.7 thousand tons of tomatoes and more than 3 thousand tons of greenhouse cucumbers have been harvested. More than 6,000 hectares of open ground vegetables were sown for the harvest 2022 of the year in all categories of farms. 2750 tons of vegetables have already been harvested from the fields: 485 tons of cabbage, more than 660 tons of cucumbers, 0 .7 tons of tomatoes, about 800 tons of beets and carrots, as well as zucchini, onions, and garlic , — said Yuri Migal.
The head of the Crimean Ministry of Agriculture also said that about 4,000 hectares of fields were sown with potatoes. Harvested 1 400 tons, which is % more than last year.
The Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea also emphasized that 42, 5 million rubles were allocated for a complex of agro-technological work in the field of vegetable and potato growing this year.
