More than 100 million rubles were allocated for the organization of hot meals in Yalta schools
CrimeaPRESS reports:
According to Yanina Pavlenko, head of the Yalta administration, more than 60 million rubles have been allocated from the federal budget to organize free breakfasts for junior grades (1-4), and another 50 million in the municipal budget have been allocated for free two meals a day for children in preferential categories.
The privileged category includes children from low-income and large families, children, one of whose parents is involved in a special military operation, orphans, children left without parental care, children who find themselves in a difficult life situation, and so on. The list is very large. Meals in schools are two meals a day: breakfast and lunch at the rate of 153 rubles per day. To receive a food allowance, the child’s parents or his legal representatives must apply with the appropriate application to the school principal— in turn, the head of the Department of Education Renard Kutkovsky notes.
Improvement of school catering units also continues. Last year, they were overhauled at Gasprinskaya school No. 1 and Alupka schools No. 1 and 2, this year they installed a new combi steamer at school No. 7.
Also, as Yanina Pavlenko said, a pilot project «Single Card» is being launched in Yalta.
Using a single universal card, a child can buy lunch at the school cafeteria, pay for travel in transport, and it also serves as an electronic pass to school— says the head of the administration of Yalta.
