More than 15 thousand state housing certificates approved in Crimea

The issuance of state housing certificates (and over 15,000 of them have already been approved in Crimea) is a support measure that allows residents of Kherson and the Kherson region to purchase housing. Nina Galben, Deputy Minister of Housing Policy and State Construction Supervision of the Republic of Crimea, spoke about this live, organized at the site of the Regional Management Center of the Republic of Crimea.

Ministry employees process an average of one hundred applications per day. At present, 4962 state housing certificates have already been paid. Approximately 2,000 applicants awaiting funds— said Nina Galben.

According to her, changes have been made to the legislation to receive support measures. In particular, the intended purpose of allocated funds has been established. This is done to prevent abuse by citizens. According to the new rules, spending the funds of the certificate is possible only for the provision of support measures to citizens of the Russian Federation.

During the live broadcast, organized by the Regional Management Center of the Republic of Crimea, Nina Galben clarified the procedure for citizens who did not have Russian citizenship at the time of buying a home, recalled the deadlines for considering applications, spoke about the operation of the republican program for the construction of standard housing.
