20 November is Children’s Day all over the world. By this date, the Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention, together with the regional branch of the United Russia party, with the support of the government of Sevastopol and the city Department of Health, held a large-scale event for children and their parents. The event was opened by Vice-Governor Alexander Kulagin.
Today it so coincided that two very good, kind holidays in one day are World Children’s Day and Pediatrician’s Day. Today, of course, we dedicate the day to the health of our kids. An active, healthy lifestyle is the basis of a healthy future, so today we are trying to do everything so that our children join a healthy lifestyle from an early age. And, of course, parents play an important role here, who do everything to ensure that children go in for sports and dancing. I want to wish you all good health, grow up happy and healthy. I also congratulate parents on this holiday, take care of your children. Good health, love and happiness to all , Alexander Kulagin addressed the audience.
On Sunday, several venues were opened at the SEA MALL shopping and entertainment center. For the guests of the holiday there were music and dance jams, a master class in playing the guitar, dance competitions, a flash mob, a master class «Dance improvisation», a master class in linocut, a tea ceremony, art practice, a lecture-conversation «ART performance ”, meridian gymnastics, robotics exhibition, master class “Hip-hop history”. More than 500 people took part in the events.
In addition, the doctors of the Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention spoke about proper nutrition for children, held master classes on first aid and interesting quizzes on oral hygiene.
