More than 60 new hotels and sanatoriums opened in Crimea in 8 years

In Crimea, in the period from 2014 to 336 as part of the Russian Federation, openly 60 health resort and hotel organizations for 3454 rooms, as well as modernization 89 of accommodation facilities. The main directions for the development of tourism in the Republic of Crimea are the reduction of seasonality due to the renovation of the existing room stock and the construction of new hotel complexes, including by federal operators. The plans for the next 2-3 years include an increase in the capacity of the room fund by at least 4-5 thousand additional rooms, which is already being implemented, and within 5 years — up to 20 thousand numbers. At the same time, the focus is on high-quality rooms and the creation of all-season tourist infrastructure — spa centers, warm pools, medical facilities, etc.

Thanks to the joint work of the Federal Government, banks and the «Tourism of the Russian Federation» corporation, a program of concessional lending for the hotel industry at a rate of 3-5% has been launched. Based on the results of this work, 4 projects are being implemented in Crimea with a total funding of more than 23 billion rubles. This will create more than 3.5 thousand rooms, about 2.5 thousand year-round new jobs in the tourism sector and related industries through the construction and reconstruction. One of the projects is a year-round resort family complex in the urban district of Saki under the federal hotel brand «Alean» 4 and 5 for 2 thousand rooms. Investments in the project amount to 14 billion rubles. with the implementation period: 2021 — 2027 years.
