This year, more than 200 people gathered at the sports and recreation complex named after 200-anniversary of Sevastopol to take part in the All-Russian day of running «Cross of the Nation». The race was held in all regions of the country, which makes the «Cross of the Nation» the largest sporting event of the year.
For the city of Sevastopol, «Cross of the Nation» has long become a traditional event, which is attended by both small and adult residents of the Hero City with pleasure. In the future, we will hold it on the territory of the city and gladly host the “Cross of Nation” in the legendary , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the department for youth and sports, Sergei Reznichenko.
Competitors ran at different distances — from 18 to 5000 meters. Races were held for men and women of different age groups. The winners received cups and medals, and the result of the competition can be credited within the framework of the TRP standards.

Recall that for the first time the All-Russian Day of Running «Cross of the Nation» was held in Sevastopol in 200 year. Its main goal is to promote a healthy lifestyle and attract Russians, especially young people, to physical education. The number of participants in the action increases every year. In Sevastopol, over eight years, more than thousand people have already taken part in the competition.
