In Crimea classified 1083 property. Including as of January 2023 of the year classified 13 objects of the «5 stars» category, 64 of an object with the category «4 stars», «3 stars» — for 244 objects, «2 stars» for 167 objects, «1 star» — objects; category «no stars» for 64 objects. These figures are provided by the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea.
From 2018 year in Russia there is a mandatory system of classification of accommodation facilities. From 2022 year, it applies to all hotels, regardless of the number of rooms. The presence of a classification is also a mandatory requirement for obtaining state support. All requirements in this area, first of all, protect the rights of consumers and are aimed at improving the quality of services provided.
Hoteliers, as well as organizations providing classification services, must understand the level of their responsibility to guests and meet their expectations in accordance with the level of the received star category. This is the key to a comfortable and safe holiday. It should be noted that many Crimean accommodation facilities, in addition to the necessary standards, significantly improve service and infrastructure, expand the list of additional services , — said Vadim Volchenko, Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea.
He also recalled that the Crimean hotels were the best according to the National Hotel Award. The Palmira Palace Resort & SPA Hotel as the «Best Resort Hotel», in the nomination «Best Family Hotel» won the More Spa & Resort Hotel, and the «Best Five-Star Hotel» was Krymsky Breeze Hotel & Villas. As well as the Saki military clinical sanatorium. N.I. Pirogov became the best sanatorium in Russia in the field of quality of services, having received the status of the Laureate of the Prize of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
In addition, accommodation facilities of the republic were included in the rating of investment attractiveness «TOP-13 Russian health resorts”, compiled by the Association of Health Tourism and Corporate Health.
