More than two thousand children were examined by Crimean doctors in the Kherson region

Since 11 November, a team of medical workers from the Republic of Crimea has been participating in preventive medical examinations of children in the Kherson region. During this period, Crimean doctors examined 2 48 children of school and preschool age. This was told by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Crimea Konstantin Skorupsky.

A team of Crimean medical workers includes specialists — these are two pediatricians, a neurologist, a child psychiatrist, a clinical psychologist , a pediatric surgeon, an ultrasound doctor, four nurses and a laboratory assistant. Doctors from Simferopol, Feodosia, Dzhankoy and Armyansk were sent to the Kherson region. Basically, our specialists work in the Genichesk district , — said the head of the Crimean Ministry of Health.

Medical examinations are carried out on the basis of schools and kindergartens, with the consent of the parents. Thanks to such preventive measures, it is possible to identify chronic diseases (or the risks of their occurrence) that do not manifest themselves in the form of obvious symptoms.

If necessary, we provide assistance in the hospitalization of children in need of treatment in the Crimean medical institutions of the third level of medical care , — said Konstantin Skorupsky.
