In the Republic of Crimea, the retail trade turnover for 10 months exceeded 307 billion rubles

The consumer market of the Republic of Crimea is saturated with goods of the food and non-food group in full, the retail trade turnover in January-October 2022 of the year exceeded 94 billion rubles. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Industrial Policy of the Republic of Crimea Irina Mezavtsova. The indicators are slightly lower than last year — 96, 6% compared to the corresponding period 2021 of the year.

Retail trade turnover by 89,10% was formed by trading organizations and individual entrepreneurs selling goods outside the market. The share of sales of goods sold at retail markets and fairs amounted to 10,7%, — informed Irina Mezavtsova.

According to her, in the structure of retail trade turnover, the share of non-food products amounted to 50, 7% of food products, including drinks, and tobacco products — 49,3%.

The turnover of public catering enterprises, including restaurants, cafes, canteens at enterprises and institutions, as well as organizations supplying public catering products, in January-October 2022 amounted to 18, 4 billion rubles, or 49, 6% in comparable prices compared to January-October 2021 of the year.

According to the Deputy Minister, the trade network of the Republic has more than thousand stationary trade facilities of various specializations. The provision of the population with stationary objects of trade is 60% higher than the minimum provision standard. Stocks of food products, which are formed taking into account the dynamics of demand, are sufficient to provide consumers, including through the production of Crimean producers. Inventories in wholesale and retail trade facilities range from 3-5 days for dairy products and up to 27 days for groceries (taking into account current demand).
