Motorists from traffic jams at the entrances to the Crimean bridge in the Kuban were moved to parking lots

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Motorists from multi-kilometer traffic jams formed in the Kuban at the entrances to the Crimean bridge were moved to park-and-ride parking lots. This was announced by the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Veniamin Kondratiev.

Through a special board, we notify about the impossibility to drive to the Krymsky bridge and about the specific location of the intercepting parking lots, so that everyone understands that it makes no sense to go towards the Krymsky bridge, but it is better to stay in the equipped places and wait for a decision. Once again, I want to emphasize that all these activities allowed us to fulfill your instructions and move people from many kilometers of traffic jams along the roads to parking lots equipped with everything necessary.Kondratiev said.

According to him, the decision to transport 750 cars of Crimean residents by ferry across the Kerch Strait will relieve tension with the accumulated vehicles now and prevent it in the future.

The capacity of parking lots is 4,000 places, on their territory kitchen, water, sanitary points are provided — everything that is needed for the convenience of people, Kondratyev said. There, people can wait out the crossing in the most comfortable conditions.
