Acting Minister of Industrial Policy of the Republic of Crimea Elena Elekchyan took part in the opening of a multi-temperature warehouse in Simferopol, the area of which is more than 8 thousand square meters. meters. The new warehouse, designed to store food in several modes, will become an important link in the food supply chain in Crimea.
The storage system is designed for 10,000 pallet places, which makes the warehouse one of the largest in its class on the peninsula. Pallets are placed in six tiers. The warehouse is equipped with modern technological equipment.
The technical equipment of the facility was completed in record time — in 2 months. The total investment in the purchase of equipment amounted to more than 120 million rubles. The warehouse processes are managed by the WMS automated system. The warehouse facility consists of three isolated zones: dry storage, chilled and deep freezing with an amplitude of -22 to +5 °C. From the distribution center, products will be distributed throughout the peninsula— said in the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Crimea.
It was also noted that the construction of a new warehouse allowed creating new jobs.
