According to the national project «Ecology» in 2023, 10 km of the bed of the Salgir River in Crimea will be cleared

More than 400 km of river beds and 3 thousand hectares of reservoirs and lakes are planned to be cleared in 2023. About it informs press service of the Federal Agency for Water Resources.

In 13 regions of the country, by the end of 2023, they plan to complete activities to clear rivers and lakes as part of the national project «Ecology». It is expected that according to the results of the year, the total length of the cleared sections of the channels within the framework of the federal project «Preservation of Unique Water Bodies» will be 412.8 kilometersthe message says.

The clearing of the Liquid Solyanka River in the Saratov Region, which has been underway since 2021, is the closest to completion. The contractor has already removed over 30 thousand cubic meters from the riverbed. m of bottom sediments, which worsened the condition of the river. All work is expected to be completed by the end of the summer.

By the same date, 10 km of the bed of the Salgir River and its tributaries will be cleared in the Republic of Crimea.

This autumn, the restoration of the Bersut River in Tatarstan, the Bolshaya Turtle gully in the Rostov Region, the Saranka River in Mordovia, and the Borzovka River in the Nizhny Novgorod Region will be completed. Project development for future activities continues in the Perm Region for the Gaiva River, in the Rostov Region for the Chernaya River, and in the Bryansk Region for the second stage of the Desna River clearance.

Most of the activities are progressing according to plan. Individual regions, in particular Tambov, Oryol, Bryansk regions, should improve performance discipline and strictly observe the established deadlines. One hundred percent achievement of the goals of national projects is a priority indicated by the head of state— said Natalia Sologub, deputy head of Rosvodresursy.

Work is also underway at 40 reservoirs in the country, lakes Baikal and Onega. By the end of the year, it is planned to restore over 3 thousand hectares of water areas. In general, in 2023, Rosvodresursy allocated more than 2.5 billion rubles for the activities of the federal project «Preservation of unique water bodies» of the national project «Ecology».
