Murderer sentenced in Sevastopol

State prosecutors from the prosecutor’s office of the city of Sevastopol proved in court the guilt of a 63-year-old local resident of committing murder. The verdict was pronounced by the Leninsky District Court of Sevastopol based on the verdict of a panel of jurors, who came to the conclusion that the attacker was guilty and did not deserve leniency for the act committed. The man was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder).

It was established that in October 2022, the attacker was drinking alcohol with his 69-year-old acquaintance in his apartment on the street. P. Silaeva. The man was sentenced to 9 years and 6 months of imprisonment to be served in a high-security penal colony.
