New Year's Eve passed peacefully in Sevastopol

CrimeaPRESS reports:

New Year’s Eve was the calmest for Sevastopol firefighters in many years. From midnight to six in the morning, rescuers made only three combat missions, which is half as much as last year.

Garbage burned twice at container sites in the Nakhimovsky district. Another report of a fire in the garbage chute of an apartment building on Admiral Fadeev Street turned out to be false. The total area of fire that night was nine square meters. The forces of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations were not involved in eliminating the consequences of the accident. No other incidents were recorded either.— reported the press service of the Government of Sevastopol.

Let us remind you that in Sevastopol a regime has been introduced to limit the use of pyrotechnic products, with the exception of firecrackers, sparklers and cold fire fountains. The use of prohibited types of pyrotechnics entails administrative liability in the form of a fine.

Precautionary measures must be observed even if you use approved pyrotechnics.

When purchasing, check:

  • packaging integrity;
  • expiration date and certificate;
  • Availability of clear instructions in Russian.

You cannot use festive pyrotechnics:

  • on balconies;
  • near trees, cars, buildings and power lines;
  • in strong winds.

When launching fires, firecrackers and firecrackers, it is prohibited:

  • lean over them;
  • direct at people;
  • try to restart if the product did not work completely or did not work at all.

In case of fire, call 101, 112.
