Nos. 17, 20, 34 are back! The operation of three long routes will be resumed in Sevastopol

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Today, during a staff meeting chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, changes to the route network were discussed. When analyzing citizens’ appeals and publications on social networks by the Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure of Sevastopol, it was revealed that the cancellation of long routes No. 17, 20 and 34 raised the most questions.

During the discussion, the governor ordered the reopening of these routes starting next week.

It is quite obvious that the experience of even such a small adjustment of the transport scheme has shown that it cannot be done in this way. Even the four routes that were cancelled, there was a huge amount of confusion. It is especially noteworthy that the organizational work with clarification failed. Such changes must be introduced point-by-point, with the condition that the current scheme is preserved, but at the same time an alternative appears. And only when we see that the existing flight is no longer in demand and people are actively using transfers, then we take measures to cancel it. Therefore, I instruct you to return these three routes by the end of the week: No. 17, 34, 20, and let them operate for an additional six months. Our transport network will endure. They will work in parallel with the new scheme. Let people drive, we will observe the existence of two models for six months. People will get used to it, we’ll see, we’ll return to this issue in the summer.noted Mikhail Razvozhaev.

In addition, the head of the relevant department reported that other appeals from citizens did not go unnoticed.

We respond to all comments and continue to work. In particular, appropriate measures have been taken: the number of transport units on route No. 1 has been increased, the number of flights has been increased and the waiting interval has been reduced on route 94, and the free transfer interval has been increased to 60 minutes on seven separate routes. I will personally go to each problem area and inspect the worksaid Stanislav Tamataev.

Let us remind you that on January 1, a new route network began operating in Sevastopol, and a single tariff was established for both urban and rural zones. In addition to new additional routes, seven interchange connections with free transfers were introduced.
