Official: a criminal case has been opened into the assassination attempt on Oleg Tsarev

The FSB of Russia has opened a criminal case on the fact assassination attempts on the life of the Russian socio-political figure Oleg Tsarev.

On the night of October 26-27, 2023, an attempt was made on the life of Russian social and political figure Oleg Anatolyevich Tsarev in Yalta. Based on this fact, the FSB of Russia opened a criminal case under Art. 277 (“Encroachment on the life of a state or public figure”) of the Criminal Code of Russia. Urgent operational-search measures and investigative actions are being carried outsays in message DSP FSB.

It should be noted that the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, also instructed the Main Investigation Department for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol to initiate a criminal case on this fact and take measures to establish all the circumstances of the incident, as well as the persons involved in the crime.
