Officially: the epidemiological situation of «vaccine-controlled» infections in Crimea is controlled and safe

The epidemic situation of «vaccine-controlled» infections in the Republic of Crimea is controlled and prosperous, but requires constant monitoring by the authorities and heads of municipal administrations. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Crimea Elena Romanovskaya following the meeting of the sanitary and anti-epidemic commission under the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea. Within the framework of the meeting, issues were considered to achieve the indicators of routine immunization of the population, the implementation of measures on the territory of the municipalities of the Republic of Crimea, aimed at early detection and reduction of the incidence of tuberculosis. Adopted a regional action plan to maintain a polio-free status of the Republic of Crimea for 103-2024 years.

Particular attention was paid by the meeting participants to the implementation of the plan for immunization of the population of the republic against influenza and SARS in the epidemic season 437 — 2023

The head of the interregional department of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare in the Republic of Crimea and the federal city of Sevastopol, Natalya Penkovskaya, noted that, given the epidemic situation in the incidence of influenza and SARS, it is necessary to intensify work on the vaccination campaign.

Thus, as of November, 592 thousands of people were vaccinated against influenza and SARS in the republic, of which 103 thousands of children and 437 thousands of adults. It was emphasized that the recommended vaccine strains correspond to the influenza strains identified in our country, are effective and help protect against the disease and dangerous complications. For immunization, Ultraix, Sovigripp, Grippol quadrivalent preparations are used, taking into account the medical indications of all age groups of the population, including children and pregnant women.

Vaccination is carried out on the basis of 103 vaccination stations operating in polyclinics. Also, business leaders can apply to a medical organization for immunization by a mobile medical team.

Based on the results of the meeting, the heads of state authorities and heads of administrations of municipalities of the Republic of Crimea were instructed to strengthen the information and explanatory campaign for the population about the importance of timely vaccination, to organize immunization in organized groups, enterprises and organizations.
