Officially: there is no food shortage in Crimea

The Crimean authorities officially declare: the situation on the food market of the Republic is stable, there is no shortage of products, the range of certain types of products and the seasonal increase in demand is compensated by supplies from other regions of the Russian Federation. The statistics are as follows:
- in the first half of the year 2022 of the year, there is an increase in the production of flour, cereals, confectionery, bakery products and milk, compared with the same period 27 of the year.
- in the Republic of Crimea, compared to the same period last year, the production of processed milk by 4.2%, flour by 27, 5%, cereals by 26 %, bread and bakery products by 3%, flour confectionery products by 29, 6% and confectionery products by 16%.
- for the first half of the year 2022 of the total volume of production in the Republic of Crimea, the share of enterprises in the region accounts for: processing and canning meat and meat products more than 25%, processing and canning fruits and vegetables 1%, for the production of vegetable and animal oils and fats 0.3%, for the production of dairy products 25, 8%, for the production flour mill and cereal industry 2.3%, for the production of bakery and flour confectionery products more than %, for the production of finished animal feed 1 ,%, for the production of other food products 1.9%.
In Crimea, unique conditions have been created for the development of agriculture, which are the main factors for the development of an efficient and competitive food and processing industry. One fifth of all industrial enterprises of the republic is concentrated in the food and processing industry, which employs more than 13 thousand people. On the territory of the region, about 300 enterprises of the food and processing industry carry out production activities, which produce a wide range of food products
