On Saturday, December 9, in Sevastopol, as well as throughout the country, the Day of Heroes of the Fatherland was celebrated.

Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev, Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation Irek Faizullin, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Timur Ivanov, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy Nikolai Evmenov, Commander of the Black Sea Fleet Viktor Sokolov, Chief Federal Inspector for Sevastopol Alexander Akulov and Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Vladimir The Germans laid flowers at the memorial to the heroic defense of Sevastopol 1941-1942.

We honor our Heroes. And we will always remember their exploits! But not all heroes wear orders and medals. On this day, I also want to say thank you to all the heroes who are next to us. Heroes of the Fatherland Day is a memorable date in Russia, dedicated to the day of veneration of the Holy Great Martyr George the Victorious.
