On September 26 and 27, the northeast wind is expected to strengthen in Crimea

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The Ministry of Emergency Situations has issued a storm warning for September 26 and 26 — the northeast wind is expected to strengthen in Crimea.

During this period, there is a high probability of emergencies caused by accidents at energy facilities, housing and communal services; there may be disruptions to transport communications and obstruction of vehicle traffic on roads, especially in areas of mountain passes. There is a threat to the life and health of the population due to the possible fall of billboards, weakly reinforced structures, trees and possible broken power linesthe message says.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea recommends following safety measures:

— exclude access to mountainous forest areas;

— refrain from going to the sea and inland waters;

— when on the street, pay attention to the integrity of overhead power lines, contact networks of electric vehicles and tree branches;

— do not stay or park vehicles near billboards, weakly reinforced structures, power lines and trees;

— do not go to embankments and bank protection structures;

— drivers of vehicles, if it is impossible to limit travel, be extremely careful on the road, do not exceed the speed limit and strictly follow the traffic rules;

In bad weather, pay special attention to the safety of children and the elderly, and be attentive to others. In case of emergency, you must call: “112” or “101”.
