On the eve of the celebration of the Nativity of Christ, employees of the Russian Emergencies Ministry conducted raids on the temples of Sevastopol

On the night of January 6-7, Orthodox believers will celebrate one of the biggest church holidays: Christmas. Traditionally, in all places of worship, starting from the evening of the 6th, solemn services will be held.

In Sevastopol, on the eve of these mass events, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia conducted a preliminary preventive examination of all places of worship, on the territory of which Christmas services will be held. Representatives of the Department of Supervisory Activities and Preventive Work of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol pay special attention to checking the condition of evacuation routes and exits, the safety of using festive illumination and electrical appliances, the integrity of electrical wiring, and the availability of primary fire extinguishing equipment. With those responsible for fire safety at the facilities, and with the clergy, inspectors conduct briefings and explanatory conversations, reminding them how to act in case of emergencies.
