“Only he didn’t return from the battle”… In Sevastopol they said goodbye to the motorized rifle hero

The day before, in Sevastopol, a rifleman from a motorized rifle platoon, Corporal Alexei Chumakov, was seen off on his last journey.

Alexey Andreevich was born and spent his childhood in Balaklava. In 2014 he graduated from school No. 33, then from SevSU. After university, I managed to work at one of the nuclear power plants on the mainland. After completing military service, he worked at enterprises in the Moscow region.

In September 2022, he was drafted into the Russian Armed Forces as part of a partial mobilization and, after completing training, was sent to the area where the military training was conducted. Alexey Andreevich Chumakov died heroically near the station. Kuzemovka, Svatovsky district, LPRsaid Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.
