Over 200 thousand Russians have banned real estate transactions without personal participation
CrimeaPRESS reports:
More than 200 thousand Russians have issued ban on real estate transactions without personal participation of the owner in the first half of 2023. The head of Rosreestr Oleg Skufinsky noted that this measure helps to strengthen the protection of citizens’ property rights and protect housing from fraudsters.
You can set such a ban in the MFC or in your personal account on the State Services portal.
After reviewing the application, a note will appear in the Unified State Register that without the owner it is impossible to register the transfer, termination, restriction of rights and encumbrance of the object. Thus, no one will be able to sell real estate without the personal presence of the legal owner, even if all the documents necessary for the transaction are presented.
