During the first half of this year, the Republic of Crimea was visited by 2 million tourists, which is 15% more than during the same period in 2023. The Head of the Republic of Crimea reported this on his Telegram channel. According to Sergey Aksyonov, in June the number of tourists increased by 25% compared to last year — more than 746 thousand people vacationed in the republic.
It is also reported that 60.8% of tourists arrived via the Crimean Bridge by car and bus, 31.7% by rail and 7.5% by land through the historical regions of Russia.
At the same time, the average occupancy rate of hotels and sanatoriums in June exceeded 54%, and large resort complexes with developed infrastructure were occupied up to 100%. According to monitoring data from the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea, as of June 27, the average booking level is 51% for July and 47% for August.
