The Grieving Mother memorial, a cultural heritage site of regional significance, has a high degree of readiness.
The contract provides for the execution of work directly at the memorial complex, as well as the improvement of the adjacent territory. To date, the approaches to the memorial, the drainage system and the blind area have been equipped, and concreting work has been completed. Today, the contracting organization is laying paving slabs and restoring the sculpture , — quotes the press service of the head of the department of capital construction of the administration of Simferopol by Anton Davidenko.
Also, according to the specialist, it is necessary to complete the restoration of the sculpture, the installation of lighting and the landscaping of the territory.
Recall that the amount of the contract for the overhaul of the memorial at the site of mass executions of Soviet citizens during the Great Patriotic War is more than million rubles. The commissioning of the object is scheduled for the end of this year.
