Owners of Sevastopol summer cafes will be exempt from rent

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The authorities of Sevastopol, noted in the local Government, continue to support local entrepreneurs. In particular, a resolution was adopted exempting businesses from paying under contracts for the placement of open-air cafes in the city. This measure will be in effect until the end of 2023. According to Alexei Popov, Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Development, due to the lack of air traffic in the region, there is a decrease in the tourist flow and, as a result, a decrease in income from catering establishments.

The proposed solution will allow the owners of summer cafes to stabilize their financial situation, ensure the continuation of activities and, accordingly, the preservation of jobs— quotes the press service of the official.

At the next meeting of the headquarters for coordinating the development and implementation of operational measures to maintain economic stability, the city governor Mikhail Razvozhaev instructed to also consider the possibility of supporting the owners of souvenir shops.
