PFR in Sevastopol: choose the form of receiving a set of social services

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The FIU in Sevastopol reminds: federal beneficiaries before October 1 2022 of the year can decide how they want to receive a set of social services from January 1 of the year : in cash or in kind (medicines, spa treatment, free travel on suburban railway transport and intercity transport to and from the place of treatment).

An application for changing the form of receipt must be submitted only if a citizen wants to change the current procedure for receiving benefits. For example, now he receives benefits in kind, and from January 1 2023 he wants to receive them in monetary terms, or vice versa, change the money to a natural form. You can apply for your choice in person at the MFC or at the PFR client services in Sevastopol, after making an appointment, as well as remotely through the public services portal , the press service of the department explains.

IMPORTANT! If a citizen wishes to maintain the existing order, there is no need to submit an application.

The Sevastopol branch of the Pension Fund recommends that federal beneficiaries carefully choose between benefits and cash equivalents. Indeed, if a citizen refuses a natural benefit or one of its parts, then throughout the next year he will NOT be able to use medicines, a voucher or travel to the place of treatment and back. Meanwhile, by retaining the right to benefits in kind, the citizen will receive these services at their real cost, and not at face value.
