At exactly 8 a.m. on Friday, March 15, all polling stations opened in Crimea. There are 1,130 of them. New equipment is installed on 260 of them — complexes for processing ballot papers (so-called KOIBs). They were tested early in the morning.

1,194 election commissions are involved in the preparation and conduct of elections in Crimea, including the republican Election Commission, 28 territorial election commissions, 1,130 precinct commissions.

On Sunday, March 17, another 35 polling stations will open in Crimea — in places of temporary stay of citizens — in hospitals and pre-trial detention centers.
