Prices for firewood sold to the population are “frozen” in Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The State Committee for Prices and Tariffs of the Republic of Crimea, together with the Republican Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, revised the prices for firewood sold to the population in Crimea.
According to the results of an in-depth analysis of the financial and economic activities of forestry and hunting farms, mechanisms were identified that optimize the production and logistics processes of timber harvesting, which made it possible to reduce the selling price of firewood for the population , — noted in the State Committee for Cen- tre of Crimea.
So, from October 1 2022 there will be a decrease in the cost of hardwood firewood sold by the Bakhchisarai, Starokrymsky, Belogorsky and Sudak forestries.
Also in the upcoming heating season, a decision was made to “freeze” the cost of prices for all types of firewood sold by forest hunting farms for 1 year — until 30 September 2023 of the year.
The current prices for firewood sold to the population can be found on the Portal of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, on page State Committee for Prices and Tariffs, in the section «Tariffs for the population».
