The main points associated with service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation under a contract concluded in YUGRA are as follows:

  • the age limit for concluding a contract is up to 60 years;
  • ranks — from private to captain;
  • the contract can be concluded for one, three or five years;
  • A previously convicted citizen can become a contractor if the criminal record has been expunged or removed.

IMPORTANT: a foreigner can also enter into a contract with the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation if he is in the country legally. At the same time, he speaks the state language of the Russian Federation, meets the medical and professional-psychological requirements of military service for specific military specialties.

When applying for service under a contract from Ugra, it is possible to select a military unit or unit taking into account the military specialty (tanker, artilleryman, grenade launcher, sniper, etc.).

  • free three meals a day;
  • two weeks paid leave at least once every 6 months;
  • life and health insurance at the expense of the federal budget;
  • the right to a pension after 20 years of military service;
  • free travel to a new duty station, business trip, vacation (a military serviceman and one family member once a year to the place of vacation and back (in accordance with the Federal Law “On the Status of Military Personnel” dated May 27, 1998 No. 76-FZ));
  • social guarantees in connection with training in educational organizations during military service, as well as the opportunity to obtain higher education;
  • payment of a lifting allowance when moving to a new place of military service;
  • transportation free of charge of up to 20 tons of personal property;
  • annual paid leave lasting from 30 to 75 days (depending on length of service).

Additional benefits for participants in special military operations

  • combat veteran status and related benefits;
  • credit and tax holidays;
  • targeted housing loan for the purchase of housing from the date of inclusion in the register of participants in the savings and mortgage system;
  • budget places for children to study at universities;
  • free recreation for children in summer health camps;
  • social rehabilitation and adaptation program (employment and housing);
  • unified additional payments, benefits and guarantees of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation for military personnel under contract.
