Puppets of the academic puppet theater are presented at the exhibition in the Museum of the History of Simferopol

The Crimean Academic Puppet Theater took part in the exhibition «New Year’s Carnival», which is organized at the Museum of the History of the City of Simferopol. As the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea notes, the exhibits presented by the theater aroused the interest of visitors, awakened vivid memories and helped to plunge into the world of childhood. The main artist of the puppet theater — Honored Artist of the Crimea Lyudmila Restenko picked up copies for demonstration and a new meeting with the audience. Puppets from the performances of the current repertoire and the archive fund of the theater are exhibited.

The characters from the performances «Cinderella» by E. Schwartz, «Harlequin, or Servant of Three Masters» by H. Yurkovskiy, «The Steadfast Tin Soldier» by G.Kh. Andersensen, «Angel’s Trumpet» by A. Schmidt — by the artist Lyudmila Restenko and «About Princes and Princesses» by A. Schmidt — by the artist Natalia Denisova. New Year’s mood and carnival atmosphere were created by the works of the Honored Artist of Crimea, Ukraine Tatyana Shevchenko and winter landscapes by amateur artist Mikhail Maksimenko , — the press service of the Ministry of Culture reports.

The exhibition at the Museum of the History of Simferopol will last until January.
