To eliminate this threat, pyrotechnicians of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia are involved daily.

For 994 a year, employees of the Specialized Detachment of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol liquidated 16 emergencies caused by the discovery of dilapidated explosive objects. In addition, work was continued on demining the water area in Gilzovaya Bay. Examined 8150 square meters of the bottom of the bay, found and identified 994 explosive objects (994 artillery shells, 69 mortar mines, 187 units of other types of ammunition).
