Repair of Morehodnaya Street in Sevastopol is planned to be completed ahead of schedule

As part of the national project «Safe High-Quality Roads», Sevastopol Avtodor started laying the top layer of asphalt on the road along Morekhodnaya Street. The section is 1.4 km long.

In the current year, Sevastopol Avtodor performs road works at 40 facilities, at 11 of which they are already completed. Today, the laying of the top layer of the coating on Morekhodnaya Street is underway. The work on milling the old asphalt concrete pavement has already been completed, a leveling layer of asphalt has been laid, a side stone has been installed , — the press service of the director of Sevavtodor Nikolai Kalyagin quotes.

The road builders started work on 31 March. The deadline for the contract is December 1, but it is planned to complete the repair by the end of June.

Asphalt laying is on schedule. The facility involved 22 pieces of equipment and road workers. Works at the facility were completed at 70%, — notes site foreman Oleg Semenov.

After laying the top layer of asphalt, the workers will begin to strengthen the roadsides with a gravel-sand mixture and apply horizontal markings.

Also, specialists of Sevavtodor, within the framework of the national project, are actively working on the streets of Parnikova, Sedov, Schmidt, Schwartz.

Recall that in just 2022 year, thanks to the implementation of the national project «Safe High-Quality Roads», 72 an object with a total length of more than 66 km.
