A boy was crossing the road on a green or red light; law enforcement officers will look into it.
Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate are conducting an investigation into an accident in Kerch in which a minor was injured. The collision occurred this afternoon (at 14:00) in the area of house No. 59 on Kokorina Street.
Driver, born in 1969, driving a Lada Granta car, driving along the roadway from Vokzalnoye Shosse street, in the direction of st. Voikova, at a controlled pedestrian crossing, hit a pedestrian — a 12-year-old boy. According to the driver, the child ran across the roadway at a prohibitory (red) traffic light, from left to right in the direction of travel of the car. The boy was injured and taken to a medical facility— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
Police officers are working at the scene of the accident; the causes and circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
