Road accident on the Simferopol — Alushta highway: a 15-year-old girl crossed the road at the zebra crossing, but at the red one

On Sunday afternoon (at 14:20) an accident occurred on the Simferopol — Alushta highway in which a minor was injured.

Near the village of Verkhnyaya Kutuzovka, a driver, born in 1994, driving a Volkswagen Polo, moving from Simferopol towards Alushta, hit a 15-year-old pedestrian who was crossing the road at a controlled pedestrian crossing at a prohibitory traffic light. As a result of the accident, the girl was injured and was taken to a medical facility.— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.

Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate worked at the scene of the accident, an investigation is being carried out, all the circumstances of the incident are being clarified. The prosecutor’s office is conducting an investigation and is deciding whether to initiate a criminal case.
