Robbery in the Saki region — “everything as we like”: relationships, drinking, money, shooting

In the Saki region, operatives detained a suspect in a robbery against a woman.

A 53-year-old resident of the Saki district contacted the police after becoming a victim of robbery. The woman reported that the man invited her to his dacha, but after drinking alcohol together, he attacked her. Demanding money for alcohol to continue the feast, the man stabbed her in the head and then shot her in the leg with an air rifle. After which the suspect took her documents and gold jewelry. The total damage amounted to 52 thousand rubles— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.

An investigative team and criminal investigation officers immediately went to the scene of the incident. The complainant also told the police that the man tried to use scissors to cut the gold ring on her finger, which she could not remove.

Hot on the trail, operatives detained the suspect. He turned out to be a 53-year-old resident of the Saki district. Police officers seized the crime weapon — an air rifle, as well as documents, gold jewelry and other material evidence stolen from the woman.

The investigator of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia «Saki» opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Art. 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Robbery”). The suspect faces from five to 10 years in prison. Currently, the citizen is being held in a temporary detention center in accordance with Art. 91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation on suspicion of committing a crime.
