In Sevastopol, the implementation of a program for major repairs of roofs of apartment buildings continues. Last year, more than 110 roofs were repaired in the city, and this year work is planned on 94 objects. Work has already begun. Thus, on Uzlovaya Street in Inkerman, workers completed design work and began dismantling.
The slate has worn out significantly; it has been used for more than 30-40 years. Now we will make a new metal covering, completely new sheathing, membranes, and insulate the attic floor. It will become more comfortable to stay in apartments on the upper floors in the summer— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the Fund for Assistance to Capital Repairs, Dmitry Shpagin.
This year, work is being carried out in 12 apartment buildings in Inkerman.
Work on this site takes only two weeks. The facility will be commissioned in a month. There were leaks in the roof, which are now being fixed. Warranty service is five years,” notes Alexey Zhudov, a representative of the work manufacturer SpetsRSU.
Work on 40 roofs is already at a high level of readiness; design work is underway on the rest, and the contractor will soon begin construction and installation work.
