The construction of three elevated pedestrian crossings has been completed on the Sevastopol Kamyshov Highway

In Sevastopol, on Kamyshov Highway, the construction of three overground pedestrian crossings was completed — work began in January 2023 as part of the state program for the socio-economic development of Sevastopol and Crimea. Objects visited and… O. Deputy Governor Pavel Ieno.

At the moment, construction and installation work has been fully completed, bureaucratic processes for permission to put into operation are in their final stages. There are minor comments to the contractor, all shortcomings will be eliminated without fail in the near future. After receiving permission to use the crossings, three traffic lights will be dismantled, which will increase the capacity of Kamyshovaya Highway and ensure the safety of pedestrians– quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Pavel Ieno.

Overground pedestrian crossings are located on the 4th, 6th and 7th km of the highway 67 K-8 «Sevastopol — Kamyshaya Bay port». The length of one such overhead pedestrian bridge is 36 meters, and its weight is 48 tons.

Each elevated pedestrian crossing is equipped with two elevators for people with limited mobility, and video surveillance is installed.

The maintenance and servicing of the crossings will be carried out by Sevastopol Avtodor.
