Rosobrnadzor: a hotline was opened on the issues of documentary workload of teachers

The Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Education and Science has opened a hotline on issues of documentary load of teachers, where teachers can apply in case of violation of their rights. The adopted amendments to the law «On Education in the Russian Federation», which come into force on September 1 2022, establish that teachers are no longer required to prepare reports outside the list approved by the Ministry of Education Russia, and electronic document management should not be duplicated in paper form. By order of the Ministry of Education, the list of documentation required for filling out by the teacher is limited to five points:

• the work program of the subject, the training course (including extracurricular activities), the training module;
• journal of progress;
  journal of extracurricular activities (for teaching staff engaged in extracurricular activities);
• plan of educational work ( for teaching staff performing the functions of a class teacher);
• characterization for the student (on request).

Maintaining the rest of the documentation in schools should be entrusted to other administrative workers. The introduction of an additional list of documentation to be filled in by a teacher is possible at the regional level only with the approval of the Ministry of Education of Russia.

Rosobrnadzor and the Ministry of Education are interested in receiving feedback on how the decisions adopted and put into effect are implemented in each particular school. It is important that they be put into practice, and our teachers can really devote more time to working with children and creative self-realization, rather than filling out various plans and reports
