Nine tourist routes will represent Crimea in the national finals of the Route of the Year award. A total of 28 projects from the Southern and North Caucasus Federal Districts took part in the competition. The best of the best will be announced on October 23-26 in Ufa as part of the III International Forum on Ethnotourism. This is reported by Tourist portal of Crimea.
Nine excursions and tourist routes around Crimea will be presented at the National final of the award «Route of the Year». Crimean projects, which were highly praised by the jury, were implemented in Bakhchisaray, Simferopol region, Old Crimea and Alushta.
In nomination «The best rural tourism route» The first place was taken by the “Aromat Excursion”, which takes place in the village of Aromat, Bakhchisarai district. The organizers tell guests about the intricacies of organic winemaking and the secrets of essential oil production. Second place goes to the Bakhchisarai excursion “Tea Party at Brezhnev’s”, which will introduce you to the beneficial world of the honey plant stevia.
The best industrial tourism route was an excursion to the Dobroye ice cream factory in the Simferopol region.
The best walking route – historical walk “In the footsteps of Alexander Greene to Koktebel” from the city of Old Crimea.
Another first place on the Simferopol route youth tourism «She: Adventure Story. Women’s stories» and the adventure trip around the peninsula «Crimea on top!»
The following excursions received “Silver”: “Old Crimea — the first capital of the Crimean Khanate”, the Alushta gastro route around the snail farm “Horns and Legs” and a series of excursion programs for children “Young Travelers Club U-Put”, which was developed in Simferopol.
